Why Community Matters: Share Your Talents

This is the fifth and final segment of the radio series called, Why Community Matters. In partnership with KYMN Radio, several community members tell their stories on how they’ve contributed to and been affected by Laura Baker.

Community members can get involved to help Laura Baker, whether that’s through volunteering your time or your talents. It’s important to remember that you don’t have to be involved in a formal program or dedicate an extraordinary amount of time in order to be a part of the solution.

Teri Knight from KYMN interviews Rob Hardy, who is a Northfield poet laureate and is doing a poetry collaboration with Laura Baker clients; Angie Ekern, a local artist; and Mike and Kenna Schulz, who are longtime donors and have been involved with Laura Baker over the years in many ways.
