Music Therapy Intern

Description:  The Music Therapy Internship position at Laura Baker is a National Roster Internship through the American Music Therapy Association.  Originally one of the first music therapy internship sites in Minnesota (back in 1976), we are excited to once again be training music therapy interns!  The internship is open to students who are a part of an accredited music therapy degree program, in partial fulfillment of the music therapy undergraduate degree or master’s equivalency.  Our music therapy program provides services to our on and off-campus residential programs, our school, and to other individuals and outside agencies (currently including long term care centers and hospice).  The variety of populations and setting makes this an excellent opportunity for the student to develop a broad foundation as a music therapist.
