Sandra Gerdes
Executive Director (top left)
Sandra came to Laura Baker Services Association in 1983. She has worked in a variety of settings since that time. She has provided direct client support and has headed the offices of Development, Admissions, and the Supported Living Services. She assumed the position of Executive Director in June of 1997.
Virginia Lorang
Chief Financial Officer (front)
Virginia began at Laura Baker in 2003. She is responsible for the financial affairs of the organization including budget development and control, and financial planning. Virginia has extensive financial experience working in both the public and private sector.
Bonnie Martinson
Director of Community Services (second row, right)
In 2000, Bonnie became the Director of Community Services, which includes Semi-Independent, Supported Living and the Cottage-Board and Lodging Services. She has an extensive background in the social services industry and working with people who have developmental disabilities.
Deb Carlson
Director of Oak Street Services (top row, right)
Deb joined the administrative team in April 2000. She has a Master’s in Special Education, has taught in several school districts and has worked in both residential and vocational settings. As Director of Oak Street Services, she is responsible for the support of all clients living in the ICF-MR setting and those attending Laura Baker School.
Jane Fenton
Director of Community Relations (second row, left)
Jane is our newest team member, starting in November 2005. Her background includes program development, fundraising, volunteer management, communications and public relations. Jane is in charge of development, admissions, public relations, marketing and volunteers.
