A Look into the History of Laura Baker Services
In 1897, Miss Laura Baker started ” The School for Nervous and Backward Children,” in Minneapolis, dedicated to the idea that people with disabilities could be educated and become productive members, A year later, she relocated to Northfield, and eventually renamed it “Laura Baker School.”
We are confident that Miss Baker would be thrilled at how her vision has transformed the lives of so very manyy people: clients, their families and staff.
