Supported Living Services
Laura Baker Services Association’s Supported Living Services provides the neccesary support, training and assistance to people with developmental disabilities to live independently. LBSA operates four SLS homes within Northfield.
The Supported Living Services’ trained staff members help clients grow and develop at their own rate in a safe, nurturing, yet challenging environment. The focus is on continued improvement accomplished through personal learning programs. The goal is to give clients the tools they need to interact and live capably in the larger community. Our philosophy is that each client should have as much control and choice as possible. We support people in their decision making and encourage new growth opportunities.
The Supported Living Services are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services to provide a broad range of waivered services and adult foster care.
